The purpose of this study was to measure teachers perceptions of executive functions. It also measured whether there was any difference in the perception of the executive functions when comparing staff from the compulsory school for learning disabilities and staff from special educational groups for children in need of special support in the ordinary compulsory school. Method for this study has been a questionnaire study who asked about how to value different abilities. Abilities who was asked about was, for example working memory, avoiding distraction and flexible thinking. The overall results is showing that the teachers valued the executive functions low.
