Abstract [sv]

METHOD: A literature study with results from eight qualitative articles. The articles quality was reviewed and analyzed. Searches were conducted in PubMed and CINAHL.

RESULT: Bedside reporting can reduce risk of harm and promote communication, but also compromise privacy and be time consuming.

CONCLUSION: Bedside reporting can definitely have a place in Swedish healthcare. However, it is not implementable in all healthcare departments and more research in the field is required.
