This study explored the unique experiences and adaptations of women in relation to telework. It aimed to understand how women balanced work performance and family responsibilities while working remotely. The study sought to offer insights into which aspects of the work environment needed to support women's needs in a digital work setting. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with women working within IT, who shared their experiences and strategies for managing daily life from home. These interviews provided a nuanced picture of both the opportunities and challenges presented by remote work. The participants reported increased freedom and time efficiency, facilitated by reduced commute times and flexible work hours, which helped integrate work and family life more seamlessly. However, the study also highlighted the challenges of remote work, such as feelings of isolation and the difficulty of delineating work from personal life. The findings indicated a need for employers and organizations to develop targeted strategies and support systems to address these issues, thereby fostering a healthier and more balanced work environment for women working remotely.
