The goal of this study aims to expand the knowledge about care organisations that focus on individuals facing acute homelessness in Sweden and how these organisations operate in a crisis context. To achieve this the study creates a framework using the Pentagon model as well as two different fields of research; organisational resilience and vulnerable groups. Six interviews are conducted with employees of five care organisations in Sweden. This is a topic seldom explored in scientific literature and is a relevant and current societal issue. The findings are that the care organisations can tentatively be labeled as resilient based on their response to the covid-19 pandemic and that they as care organisations have a unique position that can have an important roll in a crisis. Further studies needs to be conducted on this topic in order to ensure the findings of this study are correct as well as comparing the care organisations in Sweden with ones in different contexts
