Abstract [en]
This study emphasises the pivotal role of comprehensive relationships and sexuality education CRSE in shaping social understanding, contrasting Poland’s lack of formal CRSE with Sweden’s progressive approach. It examines RFSU’s program for adult migrants in Sweden, highlighting sexual and reproductive health and rights SRHR knowledge as essential to empower individuals to make informed choices about their SRH, safeguarding their rights and well-being while reducing risks like STIs, unwanted pregnancies, and unsafe abortions. The central research question explores CRSE construction for Polish migrants, aiming to bridge the CRSE gap. This inquiry seeks to guide interventions enhancing migrants’ integration and SRHR awareness. The research questions focus on CRSE adaptation for Polish migrants, challenges in delivery and potentially overlooked aspects of SRHR education. The research accentuates the need for ongoing efforts to support diverse communities’ educational needs and advance awareness of SRHR through intersectional and feminist pedagogy.
