Abstract [en]
This paper explores the relationship between Architecture and cultural landscape in the context of a changing climate-scape. The work investigates a set of placename data provided by Umeå Municipality in Sweden, as an analysis of collective cultural landscape, as well as two case studies in the city of Umeå, which unfolds a concerning phenomonon of anthropological interaction between architecture and weather factors. Finally, a collection of snowflakes, as material evidence of the trace of urbanization within climatic elements. Resulting in a set of architectural proposals, which are driven by critical reflections upon exercises above.
