This study examines how the Danish criminal policy model, Bandepakke, has influenced Swedish criminal policy reforms between 2021 and 2024. By examining Swedish reforms, the study looks at how Sweden has implemented or adapted the criminal policy reforms: stricter punishments, security zones and anonymous witnesses. The study applies a qualitative comparative method that goes within the framework of the theoretical framework policy learning is identified as soft and hard policy transfer. The result shows how Sweden has chosen to adapt Swedish reforms to the Danish model so that they fit into a national context.
