Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Our study is about stress in school. The purpose of this report is to determine how stress looks like in school and sloyd to deepen our understanding in the field of stress and how school is trying to counteract the students stress. The methods we used to get answers to our questions was surveys and interviews. The informants who participated in the study are between the ages of 15-16 years. We felt that it was a lot happening right at that age, yet to maturity is at a level that the validity of this study would be fine. The theoretical perspectives we have described and believe in is very much about self-esteem and what happen inside and outside your body. The result that we came to show is that students are stressed. In this study, we have presented the stressors they experience. The students experience that mathematics, chemistry, physict and biology is the most stressful subjects in school, but also factors such as noise level, class size is recurrent in many situations. The study has given us an understanding that we must work actively on this subject in school so the school provides for each student.
