Abstract [en]

Environmental investigation at Bahusia Personalförmedling AB

The purpose of this environmental investigation is to provide Bahusia Personalförmedling AB with the foundation for an environmental diploma. This report can, in the future, be used as a preparatory work to an environmental management system, such as ISO 14001. This work started with an enquiry for the company to answer and a study visit to the company in order to identify the important environmental impact. This information was then used and compared to the City of Gothenburg´s Standard Check-list for an environmental diploma. The company had little experience of environmental work and the personnel had not been offered any environmental education or a course in ecodriving. Because of this, many of the items in the checklist did not meet the terms. The report therefore contains suggestions of solutions for Bahusia so that a diploma can be achieved. The report contains the results from the checklist with some of the solutions to the items, (for example ecodriving and environmental education), and several supplements were created and attached to the report, such as transportation and waste procedures, environmental policy and ambition, law and chemical list, to simplify the start for the company.
