Sustainable entrepreneurship in practice: an archive study of a Swedish small scale energy technology ecopreneurship project
(English)Manuscript (preprint) (Other academic)
The need for changing energy and transport systems towards climate neutrality is today thoroughly discussed. If the human-caused climate change is going to be halted the UN climate panel IPCCC requires more or less an end to greenhouse gas emissions from different energy transformations.
In response to this urge, high expectations are connected to various forms of sustainable entrepreneurship, so called ecopreneurship, whose business model are guided by a vision to make a positive difference regarding environmental problems.
The presence of these ecopreneurs began to attract attention in the late 1980s and this article take a closer look at the practice of ecopreneurship through an archive study of a Swedish project called WELGAS.
