Networking for sustainable building - Differences and similarities between networks in the region of Umeå focusing on the network Nätverket för hållbart byggande och förvaltande i kallt klimat
The vision of the network Nätverket för hållbart byggande och förvaltande kallt klimat is to become world leading in sustainable building and property management in cold climates by 2020. This study aims to follow up the vision and objectives of the network. This study also aims to follow up the collaboration in the network and compare this to other networks. The study is based on interviews with nine present members and two former members. The result shows that there are both differences and similarities between the collaboration forms in the reviewed network compared to other networks. The result also shows that the network is unique due to the large number of members located in one region. There are many differences between this network and other networks studied, even though all have same goal, which is to reduce the environmental impact that is a consequence of house construction. All interviewed members felt that the network is moving towards the vision and that the members believe that the network contributes to important changes in sustainable building and property management. However, most of the interviewed are not able to point out any specific examples.
