Pedagogers beskrivning av det läs- och skrivförberedande arbetet: En studie i förskoleklass

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to examine how educators describe their work with pre-reading and spelling. The research questions are: How do teachers view the reading and writing preparatory work? How is the educational work organized? To what extent has the new curriculum, Lgr 11, had an impact on the methods and content? Qualitative semistructured interviews with four teachers working in preparatory classes were conducted. The results show similarities in educators' views on the reading and writing preparatory work, but differences in the way the informants describe their work. How the educational work adds up depends largely on how teachers view play and learning and how to successfully combine the two.
