Abstract [en]

The residents of Dharavi lives under a constant threat of aggressive redevelopment. This project aims to increase the knowledge the inhabitants of Dharavi have of the place they inhabit. What is the history, what is there to be proud of and what are the alternatives? This public place will provide a space to take part in the process, gather in bigger groups, listen to someone with a message, discuss. But it will also be an agreeable space to be in, with places to sit in the shade, a place where children can play, where you can watch a film together with your neighbors and where a shortcut can give new input.
