This area is from an educational perspective a less explored area where knowledge is missing. Challenging for sport researchers is to understand the complexity of the participants' motivation for being active participater in the sports. By studying the motives for sports and events participation, and investigate what contributes to students involvement, we hope to increase the knowledge in this area. The study is based on a survey and we believe the study can be of assistance to the organizers of today's student sports event.
