Sanmina-SCI AB är en kontraktstillverkare av elektronisk utrustning. Företaget ägnar sig åt högteknologiska produkter med inriktning på medicinsk teknik, som ställer extra höga krav på kvalitet och pålitlighet. En av Sanminas kunder har tagit fram en handhållen doseringsapparat som är tänkt att räkna och dispensera medicin. Sanmina ansvarar för att tillverka och montera ihop varje enhet och genomföra ett antal tester. Denna rapport beskriver arbetet med att i största möjliga mån effektivisera den testrutin som Sanmina idag följer för produkten i fråga, med tyngdpunkt på tidsåtgång och riskminimering. Ett antal problem i den nuvarande testrutinen har identifierats och analyserats och denna analys har resulterat i ett antal lösningsförslag av varierande teknisk höjd och kostnad. 

Abstract [en]

Sanmina-SCI AB is an electronic manufacturing services provider. The company deals with high-technology products with a focus on medical technology, which is particularly demanding in terms of quality and reliability. One of Sanmina’s customers have developed a handheld device for calculating and dispensing medication. Sanmina is responsible for manufacturing and assembling each unit and perform a number of tests. This report describes the work that has been done to streamline the test routine that Sanmina today utilizes for the product in question, with an emphasis on reducing the required time and the damage risks. A number of problems in the current test routine has been identified and analyzed, and this analysis has resulted in a number of proposed solutions of varying technical level and cost.
