This journal is part of a transportation design thesis at master level, concerning possession & in particular, mobility. The objectives of the project were to investigate the possibilities of a new alternative to automobile transport. Several topics are discussed here, in a discussion like format.
This journal would be of use to anyone with an interest in transport, service or mobility design. Although the project does feature styling orientated work, the focus is on mobility & theoretical design. The manner in which the text is written is of a subjective nature, but an attempt was made to analyze the data in an objective manner.
The outcome was a three vehicle system that provides users with mobility for most situations. it was directed by the tutors at Umeå’s Institute of Design & from the co-operating company, Mitsubishi Motor R&D of Europe Gmbh.
