Abstract [en]

Modern eletronics has yielded new challenges for researchers in the past few years, with the need of highly transparent, conductive, flexible and affordable materials. Transparent and conducting electrodes are still widely investigated, especially the ones based on metal nanowires embedded in polymer matrices. In this work silver nanowires based electrodes embedded in polymethyl methacrylate were elaborated and structured by nano-imprint lithography to study possible enhancement of the two main performance criteria for transparent and conductive materials, namely optical transmittance and sheet resistance/conductivity.
