Abstract [en]

Pedagogical potential of objects and phenomena in outdoor environment is poorly explored in physics education. Meanwhile these resources can be used to develop interesting open-ended teaching units. Simple outdoors experiments can generate a cluster of explorative learning tasks. One of such clusters, based on the study of shadow, is presented in the paper.
