Abstract [en]
This talk covers the connection between the trends and transformations we see happening or being projected for society, and which will heavily affect the design-driven automotive industry. Disruptive policies, business models and technologies are influencing the kind of products and services that need to be designed in the automotive arena. There should be a clear focus on design for sustainability and user experience. Educational content has also been adjusting to promote research, discussion and to better prepare young professionals for this reality. The supporting presentation shares hand-picked examples of student projects that illustrate all these aspects.
