Abstract [sv]
This application concerns the up-coming extension of the Betula database infrastructure. The main purpose of this application is to extend the existing database to facilitate research on biological data of relevance for health, aging and cognition. At present, data on genetic, telomere dynamic, inflammatory and metabolomics markers, structural and functional brain imaging are separately stored and the goal is to include these data into one database comprising all collected variables. Present state of the infrastructure is that it is very well conceived in both the national and the international research community. Many research groups and consortia have expressed great interest to use the Betula data.
