ScanFly is a Scandinavian meeting focused on bringing together research groups working with Drosophila as model organism. All Scandinavian research groups working using fruit flies as model system are invited to participate at the meeting. In the first call all groups are welcome to participate with 2 persons and will have one allocated slot for an oral presentation. The aim of the meeting is to strengthen the Scandinavian fruit fly research community and to build and enhance communication and discussion among research groups. Exchange of novel techniques and technology and well as scientific ideas will be focused upon. The maximum number of participants is 70 which we feel will be an ideal size to promote interaction and productivity.
