In communication, we use trust to deal with uncertain and incomplete information. Possible deceptive behaviour from others requires us to re-examine available information to determine who to trust. In multiplayer games, deception is often a prevalent strategy which makes this an interesting area for research into deception detection. By formalising game dialogue into argumentation dialogue using argumentation frameworks, we can reason about an agent's deception by attributing trust to their arguments. We introduce a framework for doing exactly this: detecting deception in a multiplayer dialogue game by attributing trust to each agents' arguments.
