The article looks at the phenomenon of magical enrichment in the strand of Christian tradition that formed around the figure of the Apostle Paul. The article investigates the ascriptions of magic and miracles to the figure of Paul in the authentic letters of Paul and the Acts, both the canonical and apocryphal ones, and how this development relates to the cultural evolution of Pauline Christianity.
